Mindy has a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, Virginia and a Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy from Emory University in Atlanta. She is currently enrolled in the Doctorate of Physical Therapy Program at the University of St. Augustine in Florida. She has specialized in pediatrics since 2000 and has experience in a variety of settings, from inpatient acute care of neonates and infants to adolescent sports medicine “kids” on the field and everyone in between. She has had advanced training in the NICU, as well as serial casting and taping techniques. Mindy is also a certified swim instructor and athletic trainer. She believes strongly in the team approach to treating children, which involves great communication between all caregivers, non-clinical staff, medical professionals, payors, and the child who is the leader of this team. She currently treats children in Intown Atlanta, and she loves being active outdoors with her friends and her son. She is also an active scuba diver and hiker, loves photography, working game nights for the Atlanta Hawks, travelling, cheering on her favorite sports teams, and reading.
